There is an LGBTQI+ community in the Thriasio region!

Cultterra is organizing its third event dedicated to the LGBTQI+ community.

The poster features Antinous, the beloved of Roman emperor Hadrian. After Antinous’ tragic death in the Nile, Hadrian deified him and had statues of him erected throughout the empire. One such statue stands today in the Archaeological Museum of Elefsina.

In the poster, Antinous is shown pulling back his cloak with his right hand, revealing what has long been hidden. On his bare chest, we read the title: “Elefsina is no longer keeping secrets.”

In the same way, Cultterra reveals and amplifies the voices of LGBTQI+ people in Thriasio – a small region where individuals of the community are often forced to hide their identities and sexualities.

With a history of two successful events, the team moves forward boldly, creating a larger and more open event for the public.
