Giorgos Linardos was born in 1996 in Aspropyrgos. He studied Film at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and returned during the pandemic period. He completed his studies with his thesis film Misagapistes and since then has been involved in business, innovation, and organizations, focusing on art, science, technology, and society in all its aspects. Besides short films, he has written poetry, created paintings using artificial intelligence, and written lyrics for future songs.

Artist’s note:
It was a very beautiful experience. I collaborated with the Cultterra team and met people I wouldn’t have otherwise if I hadn’t participated in Know the Locals through the exhibition. I was given the opportunity to exhibit some of my artworks and I am grateful for this, as well as for the public’s response, which for the first time, in a solo exhibition, gave me great joy and the sense of socialization that the experience of exhibiting your works and talking to people offers.
I want to thank the Cultterra team, Fiorinda for the collaboration, Panagiotis for the poster, as well as my parents for their moral, psychological, and practical support in setting up and running the exhibition, my grandfather for transporting some necessary equipment to set up the exhibition, and of course, last but certainly first, Elefsina 2023 Cultural Capital of Europe, for their contribution to Elefsina and the opportunity for the artistic community to exhibit and attract people through their works, sharing feelings, experiences, and thoughts.
