A celebration of visibility, love, and acceptance in Elefsina! Cultterra hosts “Pride and Prejudice” for the first time, giving space for the LGBTQI+ community of Thriasio to be heard and to express themselves.

On July 6th, 2022, at the X – Bowling Art Center, we held our very first Pride event, which was a great success.
Our guests had the opportunity to watch the short film by Vasilis Kekatos “The Distance Between Us and the Sky”, as well as a short documentary created by members of our team.
The direction was curated by Fiorinda Cenaj with the support of Dimitra Chatzipanagiotou, while the sound editing was done by Anastasia Danaka.

At the same time, the venue hosted an exhibition featuring works by local artists — Elpida Chatzinikolaou, Efraimia Parianou, Nefeli Maria Mademli, and Panagiotis Babas — showcasing sculpture, painting, and music.
There was also a small presentation of the in situ installation previously created in Elefsina by Timothy Laskaratos.

After the screenings, a discussion followed around the reflections raised by the films, and we had the pleasure of continuing the conversation with Giannis Papagiannopoulos, a member of the Athens Pride organizing committee.
